Sim activation

I've upgraded my phone and package but to activate the new sim it's asking for the pac code but I'm already a sky customer so surely my number is already linked

If you have ordered a new sim then it should be asking for the sim activation code that comes with that sim.

 

A pac code is only used when moving a number between different networks.

It's asking for the activation code and pac number. It's like they're treating the new sim like a new customer rather than an upgrade. It won't allow me to activate without a pac code which won't work as I'm already a sky customer

It sounds as though you ordered a new sim by selecting a data package as you might have missed the "keep my number" bit so the data plan would have been added to your existing sim.

 

What you could do is to not activate that sim and use your current one and perhaps calls Sky on 150 to change the data plan on it.
