Sim activation

Hi

Hope someone can advise. I am an existing sky mobile customer and

I have a new sim for a new data plan that I need to activate. Will I keep the same number or do I need a PAC code to keep this? I can't find advice around this on the mobile section of the website.

thanks

If you activate this new sim then it will come with a new number so this will mean that you will have and will be paying for two sims on your account if you already have one. It is not possible to move the number from one Sky sim to another Sky sim. If you don't activate this new sim then after 30 days Sky will cancel it and you will not be charged for it.

Re: Sim activation

Thank you for your reply. As far as I understand (at least this is what I think I'm doing!) this new sky sim is to replace my previous sky sim with a different data deal so I shouldn't have 2 sims running at once. Disappointing that I can't keep the number - is there any way around this?
thanks again

Hi @CHE239  the only way around this is to port your old number to another network on PAYG then port it back onto the new sim once it's activated.
