Sim Pin - Physical Sim to eSIM

Bought a new iPhone upgraded from a previous older model, that model was physical sim with a sim pin unlock code, I've transferred that to an eSIM on new phone but it doesn't have a sim pin unlock code, and obviously isn't transferred over to new phone.  There is a section in iOS mobile settings for a sim code setup but it asks for PIN code.?  I put in physical sim PIN code but it's not accepted,  so I've no clue how to set up a eSIM PIN code?   Any ideas?

Re: Sim Pin - Physical Sim to eSIM

Would help if I was transferring a physical pin to a new device as the pin would remain the the same, however it's not transferred the physical PIN code to the new device eSIM code using the quick transfer as it's apple to apple device transfer, I've tried pin twice (didn't work) and I've one more try before it locks eSIM completely.  There is a possibility that the eSIM pin could be the default 0000 if physical PIN code doesn't work, but if 0000 doesn't work then it locks and causes extra problems.
