Shows I have an upgrade option on my ipad but then won’t let me upgrade?
I have had an iPad Pro under swap 36 since September 2022 and not due for upgrade i thought but it shows i have an upgrade option so went through and now showing as a new order rather than swap. i have cancelled the order but curious as to why it shows an upgrade if that isn't the case?

You can 'swap' at any time after 30 days (up until the last payment is made).
However, the residual value of the device is unlikely to cover the outstanding credit if made before the usual date (i.e. 3 yeas). Indeed, the residual value isn't guaranteed - and does depend on condition.
