Service - Calls and Data

For a little over the last twenty four hours I have had no calls or data service on three Sky mobiles used by our household.

 

Any calls are blocked with a message "I'm sorry we cannot connect your call.  If you have set a spending cap you can you review this at sky.com...etc..."

 

There are no spending caps on the sims.

 

I spoke to Sky this morning who focused very much on "service status" by post code which was all reported as normal.

 

There are restrictions on the account, according to Sky Customer Services  and I have turned all of the phones off and back on and even removed each sim before inserting it again.  Customer Services have reported this to the "Network Team" with no timeframe given.

 

Naturally it is starting to get a little frustrating and I have no idea what to try next!

 

Any suggestions on next steps?

Interestingly I have had a very similar issue, however 1 of the 2 Sims works, the other does not. Have been told a ticket has been raised to look into within 48 hours. Have you had a resolution?

No resolution.

 

I do have a fourth Sky sim which is working fine however that is currently in a completely different post code area.

 

I have "four bars" for mobile single but the data indicator (4G / 5G) keeps flashing on and off on the phone.

Interesting. Exactly same issue. No resolution here either but reading your post has just saved me laying out for a new motherboard and battery!

2 out of 4 sky devices unable to receive calls for about 30 hours now

How interesting 

I have been trying this contact sky all day 

I have 3 sims ( 2 of my daughters n my own 

my daughter .1st sim stopped working correctly 02/06/25 and yesterday my n my other daughters stopped working 

I had already spoken to sky about the 1st sim and they sent a replacement sim ... well that's also not working 

has anyone else been updated or got it fixed 

it's a absolute nightmare I'm ready to cancel all sims and all sky products

Hi Sue - I'd suggest your issue looks different to mine and the OP. Ours struck a big resemblance, however yours has more issues it appears. All the best with getting resolved.

Hi @vuldalm  this is mainly a customer helps customer forum so sky mods or staff won't normally comment.

I still have no data or calls. It says I have a spend cap - which I don't. I can't call sky bc my line is blocked the virtual assistant is useless and I can't find anyone to help me . I don't owe money. I even tried to pay an advance bill and it won't accept the payment !
