Sent wrong pixel buds.

Received my pixel buds today which came with my pixel 9 pro XL, But here's the problem on sky's website they say claim pixel buds 2 pros with any new pixel device which I why I got this phone, however what I received today was the gen 1 earbuds which are now a few years old.

I spoke to Google and they basically said tuff we are not replacing them so I have now spoke to sky and they have said they will raise a complaint and get back to me so hopefully sky can resolve the issue or the issue will have to go further with the Advertising standards agency.

My guess is that Google are hoping people will not notice the difference between gen1s and gen2s and are trying to get rid of old stock and are possibly sending them to people who are claiming new buds with new pixel phones.

Hi @Hearnz  as this is a Google offer with redemption through them then I doubt you will get much back from sky. At the end of the day it's a google issue not a sky one.

Sky are already onto the issue and are trying to resolve it as Google are saying they will not exchange earbuds for anyone who has received the wrong ones.

Yeah hopefully we will see , be a false advertisement issue if it's not resolved
