Sending old phone back

I upgraded my iPhone 14 to a 17 and when upgrading I chose the option to send my 14 back as I wasn't finished paying it back, as it to so long for the 17 to be delivered the 14 credit agreement is now all paid off

Am I right to be of the understanding if I was to send my 14 back they'd value it and take it off the amount of my new credit agreement so as it's now paid off I have no need to send the 14 back?

and if I did it was just take down the cost of the new credit agreement?

If you are owed anythimg back from the retuned iphone 14 then it will be added to your account as a credit which will then be used against your next available mobile bill.
