Sending images via text

Ive recently moved myself and dad to sky mobile, since doing so, i can not send pictures via standard message , so my partner sent one of his phone to my dad and we cannot receive them either, error message displays "service not activated on network"... what does this mean and how do we fix this?

Hi @Maccha28  first check your APN settings and see if there is a setting for mms ?  Also as mms messages are charged extra then make sure your monthly spend cap is set high enough to cover the costs involved.

Personally, it's worth moving to a messaging platform (such as WhatsApp) that will transfer such items via data and will not incur chargeable items such as MMS.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
