Selling Macbook On Contract

I have a Macbook that i pay for monthly and want to sell or get rid of it am i able to sell the laptop as im still paying it off and havent fully paid it off yet or do i have to pay it off completley before selling the device.

Hi @olyevans  you can sell it now if you want but you must keep up the monthly payments or pay off the balance.

is this 100% accurate as i dont want to get into trouble if i sell the laptop even if i keep up with payments

It has been confirmed previously by sky staff @olyevans  once you have the device it's yours to do with what you want as long as you keep paying for it until the balance is cleared.

Technically Sky as an FCA-approved lender advanced you an unsecured personal loan which it then immediately used on your behalf to purchase the hardware,  The contractual monthly payments reduce the balance of that loan: you've owned the laptop from the start and can do with it as you see fit.
