Scam telephone call ?

Out of the blue I keep getting calls from a  London landline number allegedly from Sky promotions department saying that I qualify for a 40% discount on my Sky Mobile bill. Then I am asked for my email address. Sky do not normally contact me in this way so I am suspicious. Is this a scam ?

Highly likely I would have thought as there have been similar posts on here along similar lines with people being called out of the blue saying they qualify for a discount. It could well be a ruse to get your Sky and financial details.

It's highly likely it is a scam call.  The 'qualified for a discount' is a well known softener to start the scam.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

100% sure that is a scam. If they call again & ask for the password give them a fake one, if they say thanks then they're scammers; if they say it is incorrect then they may be genuine.

I don’t work for Sky.
