The call you received is a scam call as there are quite a few of these types of calls that are being posted about on here.

Did you give them any personal details about your Sky account or your payment details ?

No, it's a scam. The scam usually goes like this: They'd no doubt ask for bank/card & account information where they'd order several devices on your account. Then when you received your free gift it'd not be a watch but say a high priced phone, they'd then call to say you'd received the wrong gift & that you need to return it. The return address wouldn't be Sky's but a private address & if you sent it back you'd be liable for the cost of the device/s
A variation is that the scammers say they need to collect the incorrect gift but the outcome is the same.

If you gave these people any personal information then you need to contact your bank/card issuer & change the password on your Sky account.

@Farheen

Most of these calls originate from abroad so are pretty difficult to block.

The thing to remember is if you receive a call out of the blue like this and what they say sounds to good to be true then it usually is so just hang up on them.

Im not sure what password you gave them (telephone or online) but if it was your online one then you need to change this as soon as possible:

Re: Scam ? Fraud against all costumer

I've just had a similar call although not lucky enough to be offered a gift, just a 40% discount! Again, two women with strong Indian subcontinent accents. I'm always suspicious of call centre cold calls so when I was asked for my email address I refused to give it. The woman I was talking with claimed to want it so they could send me an "official" sky email. I told her that Sky already had my email address and so why did they need it? She claimed that the reason was that my email address was blanked out on their screens. At that point I told them I wasn't interested as they clearly werent calling from Sky.
