Samsung tablet not charging

I bought a Samsung a9 for my daughter from sky and the charging port is not working. I am still paying it off how do I get it fixed. Local people are charging £60 and upwards to fix it. Would it still be covered by sky as I'm still paying it off.

Have you tried another cable to see if it then works or does it has fail to charge when using another one ?

No.  Paying by credit doesn't automatically cover faults/wear and tear.

However, have you checked the warranty period for the device?  Some can be 24 months for example...
