SMS getting sent multiple times

Everyone I send an SMS to keep smelling me it arrives 3 times.  Keep checking and Sky just say poor network in my area at the moment, but this is everywhere I travel.  Surely the network is not failing everywhere?

I cannot switch to WhatsApp or messenger as different people use different messaging apps, surely the only constant is SMS?

Anyone else had this and resolved the problem?

If you add "texts sent multiple times " or similar in the search section at the top of the forum mobile page you'll see this happens quite a lot.

Thanks @Daniel0210   seems many people reporting but no answers and zero response from Sky from what I can see. 

I love when there is a possible answer it's done in a private chat!!

It could be tied into the poor network coverage as your phone might be having issues sending the text messages so they might be sent more than once if the network coverage isn't the strongest and keeps dipping in and out.

Yes I think you are right this is the cause as googling seemed to all point in this direction. Just appears Sky don't give a hoot but are happy to sign up more and more customers which just perpetuates the problem!
