I am attempting to activate the data in my Land Rover Discovery. I insert the SIM correctly and then enter 'All settings' 'Connectivity' and ensure 'Mobile Data' and 'Hotspot' are on. The mobile data just says 'reading SIM' it never gives me the option of 'Mobile Settings' as I need this to change the network provider too 'O2' as other forums I have seen.
I need to set this SIM up and desperately need help.

Id be tempted to try the sim in a mobile phone if possible?
I know previously on Vodafone there was some setup needed on the sim (which happened automatically when I put it in an old phone ), before it would work in my car.

Hi, thanks, I did try that and it showed there was a network, but still no joy in car!
I've ordered a replacement SIM from Sky, see if that helps...

Did you try browsing in a browser on the phone?

Hi, yeah, tried and all good but not connecting in the car. LR have said that it maybe due to the age of the vehicle and the SIM I am using, the car may only accept 3G?! I've booked a slot to see them to see what they offer. Thanks for your help
