SIM card stopped working
Took my sim out of my phone to let my friend use my phone, put mine back in and it won't work but hers still does ?

Sounds like the SIM was damaged somehow - you'll need to contract Sky to send you a replacement.

Have you tried your SIM card into another phone, have you tried refreshing your network settings incase your phone has sim locked to the network your friends phone was on ?

Yes I've reset network settings and unfortunately I don't have another phone that I could try my sim in

Give this a try if you can @Shaunp8282 :
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.
