SCAM CALL ADVISING 4G SIM CARDS WILL NOT WORK SOON

Received a call yesterday stating that my SKY 4g sim card will no longer work in a couple of weeks as they are upgrading to 5g, and that i needed to give them my details so they can send out a new sim. When i questioned the guy he got all defensive, so i advised him he was trying to scam me and put phone down, if you arent expecting a call then its cold calling and more than likely a scam to take some og your hard earnt cash !!

Tbh they'd probably get more takers if they said 3g was being turned off as this is correct.

It looks like these are the latest scams to be doing the rounds as somebody else posted on here about this yesterday so it is always advisable to just put the phone down should you receive anymore.
