Roaming passport plus
Just want to double check....the sky roaming passport plus website page says that Turkey is included in the £2 per day passport plus. But on the same page it says to watch out if you are in a country like Cyprus or Rhodes that borders Turkey and
you could pick up the signal for Turkey and be charged extra roaming fees. Which is it? Is it included or not?

Re: Roaming passport plus
Turkey is £2 per 24 hours.
In some countries where the £2 charge applies if you are near to the border you might connect to a signal from a different country where this fee doesn't apply so you could wrack up large bills.

Re: Roaming passport plus
Yeah I get that but in the example it says that Turkey is included but also to take care of you are in a country that borders Turkey as its a non EU country and you could be charged extra. It doesn't make sense.

If you connect to a country not covered by the passport then you pick up charges under 'rest of world' tariff.
If you phone is set to automatic network selection then this can happen near a border. Best answer is to manually select a network in the passport country...

Re: Roaming passport plus
I'm maybe not explaining the question properly.
Turkey is included in roaming passport for £2 per day.
On the page it says connecting to a TURKEY signal when in corfu could result in extra charges. Why would it result in extra charges if its a roaming passport plus destination and your are in another roaming passport plus destination?

Re: Roaming passport plus
Hi @joannesmca if you connect to another passport plus country within the same 24 hour period then there would be no extra charges. If you connect to a rest of the world destination then there would be extra charges.
See page 9.

Re: Roaming passport plus
Ah, I see - as @63johnw explained. The one to watch out for is being near a border of a country not included in the passport... (i.e. 'rest of world')
