Roaming charges

I'm going on holiday on Monday and I can't work out how to pay the £2 a day to use my phone abroad

Hi @Andy11112000  what country are you travelling to ?  All you have to do is turn roaming on in your phone settings and (as long as the country your travelling to is covered by the charge) as soon as as you land and either send a text, make a call or use a small amount of data it kicks in automatically for 24 hours. The same again the next 24 hours. Calls to local numbers are charged at international rates and there is a 25 Gig fair use policy now.

The £2 Roaming Passport Plus is only for certain destinations.

You need to ensure roaming and mobile data are turned on in your phone settings and it will kick in when you send a text, make a call or use a small amount of data. Set any spend cap to cover the total number of days you are there. Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates and there is now a limit on data use of 25GB per billing period, after which Sky can charge you an extra £2.50 per GB or even suspend your useage duel to overuse.

It's really important to check that your destination is actually covered by that scheme before arrival. Use in  'rest of the world' countries costs several pounds per megabyte of data.
