Removing Devices No Longer Owned

Is there any way to remove old devices from your account because you've finished paying for them and you no longer physically have them?

If not, then maybe it's something Sky could consider adding as a feature in the future. You can remove other devices like Glass, so why not phones?

No, they are only removed if returned to Sky...

I believe only devices returned are removed and even that doesn't happen straight away. I have no idea why it is like this but devices paid off or returned shouldn't count as an active device so shouldn't cause your any issues going forward.

If it prevents you from ordering another device call Sky and the agent can place the order for you.

Although it is a bit bizarre as I still have a phone case on my account long gone to landfill... 😐

Re: Removing Devices No Longer Owned

@Daniel0210 I'm not looking to order a new device. I was just adding some data to my daughter's phone and noticed I had phones listed under my devices that I haven't owned in years! I like things to be neat so was just wondering if I could tidy that section up myself.

Preventing the ordering of a new phone is the normal reason for the question being asked on here. If that doesn't affect you then that's fine.

Re: Removing Devices No Longer Owned

This is the exact thing I wanted to know I have an old phone on there I no longer have and paid in full for it's so annoying seeing it on there!

Re: Removing Devices No Longer Owned

@sarah153004 It is a bit silly that Sky can't remove them though. I did actually ring Sky to ask if they could do it and was told their system didn't allow it. I have six devices listed that have long since been paid off and recycled elsewhere that will always be there it seems.
