Regular broken/poor mobile signals
Over past 6 months my sky mobile signal has become increasingly poor and I wondered if others have experienced this. I have been with Sky for many years and now my sons are on it too but frequently I get poor quality calls which break up (at places that have been fine such as my home) and no signal regularly out and about where other providers have a good signal.
This is causing me issues with not being able
to contact my children and elderly parents, when needed.
I know it is not 100% coverage but definitely worse and not sufficient at times. Is anyone else any suggestions or similar experiences?

Re: Regular broken/poor mobile signals
You could try a replacement sim incase you is faulty, you will need to call Sky on 150 to order it.

Re: Regular broken/poor mobile signals
OMG, exactly this! I've had Sky for years, I live in Kent. It used to be for most of my train journey into London I got signal. Obviously I accept due to trains going through tunnels and rural areas I don't expect perfection As the years have gone on, it's got worse and worse to the extent I'd now say the vast majority of the trip I can't use my phone. Towns and villages my phone used to work in it no longer does. Places like West Malling, Maidstone, Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Barming, Otford, around a lot of Bromley...nothing. When it says "3G" now rather than it being slightly slower it may as well just display "Don't Bother" It's infuriating and I'm looking to change network as their service network coverage has degraded so badly
(Also a slight irony it took about 20 minutes of my train journey to find a window of signal to send this! In a place usually there used to be good coverage)

Re: Regular broken/poor mobile signals
I've given your comment a thumbs up but of course this situation is frustrating and not good.
I have since my original post undertaken troubleshooting with customer services and then was sent a new SIM (you could try this in case it helps). It didn't with me. I was then given a new reference number (as they didn't know what the problem was, but had experienced it themselves in a supposed 4 bar area and I was breaking up) for a Tech team to be in touch. A week ago and nothing. Meanwhile left with a phone signal so poor at times my elderly parents and my kids cannot hear me when they call and need me - pointless and dangerous.
I have logged a complaint as not fit for purpose. Disappointing as have been a sky mobile customer for many years. Good luck to you. Ps no reply to that as of yet either.

Re: Regular broken/poor mobile signals
Yes I've been having the same experience and it's concerning because I live in a slightly rough area. I've complained to sky and they've given me the troubleshooting links. Useless if I can't get WiFi to use them! It's disappointing knowing we are paying for a service we don't seem to be receiving.
