Re: Refund
I am same.
Device returned and email from sky saying it was received on 10th September.
i phoned for an update on 23rd, sky mobile person said don't worry refund will be in 3 days. Ok
3 days pass - nothing.
phoned again and the person who I spoke to didn't even log what he said on the call.
now I'm told just to wait, there is NO expected time for me to wait. So I asked what would you do? Wait a week, a month, a year!! They said nothing as they don't know why the device hasn't been removed.
all this time, I've paid some upfront for device and £30 a month added on recent bills plus all future bills until it's removed!
I am honestly shocked. Not at the wait time but how sky can't actually say why or what to do.
I've submitted a complaint, then received a random text later that day saying my case is closed - I have no idea whether that relates to my complaint?!
it's so poor - genuinely thinking I may have to contact my bank for advice as they are taking money from me without a solution to refund, yet admit they had the device weeks ago!

Re: Refund
I'm trying here to understand what refund you are expecting.
If this is because you have ended your services and you have complied with the terms and returned your equipemt, and then they have charged you a non-return fee.
If they have taken this by direct debit then it's free for you to contact the bank, tell them that you want to file a claim under the direct debit guarantee.
You will need to provide the bank with the relevant details and maybe asked to provide proof.
If the payments was taken off your card then you can charge back the transaction with the card provider.
If you are leaving sky you should cancel your direct debit after your final-normal monthly payment has been taken, they can't debit your account additional fees then

Re: Refund
Thanks.
The refund is for a new phone which I ordered and returned 4 days later as it was not worth the money. It was pristine including packaging and returned according to 14 day return policy. .
I paid a small fee for the phone and agreed a £30 a month deal (36 months!!)
I already have other services with sky and sky mobile so I'm not leaving them completely.
I will contact bank if I haven't heard from my complaint in one more week.
