Received new iPhone 13 - How to set it up?

Where are the manuals or instructions to get my new iPhone setup and working? Or ... what do I need to do? 😊

Hi @Kbjklgkjgv  with modern smartphones you don't tend to get instructions, it's just a case of turning it on and following the on screen prompts. If you look on the Apple website there will be help articles on there.

I have plugged it in to recharge. I've not put the sim card in (it is in my 'old' phone but is compatable. The screen just says 'hello' !!

When you see the hello option then you need to select it if English is your language or wait until it scrolls the the greeting in your language.

Do you see a line at the bottom of the screen,  if so swipe it up as per this:

No it just says press home but pressed every button but does not seem to work! The home button is the 'fingerprint' ? But I haven't set it up so that does not work

If the phone has a home button then you should be able to press it during set up.

It's working ... well I have opened up to the beginning of the set up!! Don't know how but thanks everyone
