Query Regarding SIM Card with iPhone 17 Pro Max Contract

I purchased a new iPhone 17 Pro Max on contract yesterday. I would like to ask about the SIM card that comes with the contract.

I do not need a new SIM, as I would prefer to continue using my existing SIM card. Could you please let me know whether it is necessary to use the new SIM provided with the contract, or if I can use my old SIM instead?

The contract includes 30GB data for £10, so I would like to understand if this offer is linked specifically to the new SIM or if it can be used with my current one.

I would appreciate your clarification on this matter.

@Anmolsingh

The 30GB data offer for £19 will apply only to the new SIM card that you have been sent so if you are happy with the data package you have with your current sim then this new one will be cancelled if you do not activate it.

If you do decide to activate it then you will have a new phone number as it is not possible to directly transfer a mobile number between two Sky sims without moving it to a PAYG network first then back again to the new sim.
