Procedure for using existing mobile number from another network

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction:

 

I am on Vodafone. Looking to get Sky Mobile. Can I use my old Vodafone number on the new Sky contract?

 

If so, can someone link how to do it and if I need to do anything before I get the Sky contract?

 

Tried using the sky bot but literally no help at all.

This is what you need to do:

 

Buy the Sky sim

Activate the sim when it arrives but do not put it in your phone, so keep your current sim in it.

Get pac code from your current supplier

Give Pac code to Sky

When your current sim stops working insert your Sky sim in the phone.
