Problem with staff mobile post redundancy

Hi. I was made redundant from Sky and left the business 30/04/24.
 
As part of the severance package, I was allowed to keep my mobile and usage for 12 months. However, as of yesterday, my phone just stopped working: it won't take or make calls and callers hear the message "This number is not recognised".
 
Googling the issue and meaning of the four dot icons top right on the screen, the problem is apparently the SIM. But now I'm cut off from all the help services I used to be able to tap into, I'm completely stuck.
 
The SIM isn't on my family plan, presumably because it's still staff so the tech/account team there can't help (I've tried).
 
I'm without access to any other phone today and although I can WhatsApp call on WiFi, the contact number on the redundancy letter won't accept these calls. 
 
Can anyone help/advise? I hope so!

As customers here all we can suggest is that you call Sky as a regular customer from another phone to see what they say.

I've tried! They just say try 'Staff', but it's a multi-choice list of phone options that eventually lead you down a dead end street anyway. Thanks for getting in touch. Their contact system is shockingly bad.

Try saying nothing when asked anything by the bot. The alternative is to contact Sky via one of their social media channels.
