Not wishing to teach you to suck eggs but have you checked they have your correct number?
Is the number they're calling from a normal area number ie: like 0161, or is it from an 0345 or 0845 number. There's been a few reports of calls not connecting when made from switchboards such as schools, doctors, hospitals etc but I'm not sure a solution was forthcoming.
