Please any help or advice.
Any help would be appreciated. I just want to say I have spoken to customer services after trawling the internet for numbers and they tried to help but it's difficult remotely, so I tried to speak to a real person, so I looked up a Sky shop and my nearest was three quarters of an hour away, I looked up the details of the shop and phoned up in advance to check they could and would help. When I arrived the "shop" was actually a pop up stand with a couple of seats and a less than helpful employee. She took a Quick Look at my phone and suggested I call customer services, when I explained all the steps I had taken with the gentleman in customer services she said "well maybe get a pay as you go sim and try again." All I want is to be able to make and receive phone calls and text messages as this is my only form of communication with my elderly father and the rest of my family.

A few questions:
Has this been working up to now or are you new to Sky Mobile and if so have you activated the sim ?

I bought a Sky mobile to replace my outdated phone and finally after several months replaced the O2 sim with a Sky sim, since then I have had nothing, can't send or receive calls or text. After a lengthy conversation with 4 different reps from Sky the told me they would look into the problem with 48-72 hours, being a "fairly" patient man I have waited a little longer but the promised call has so far not been made. Now the only way I can think to resolve this is to cancel my contract and move to a new company. I still hold out hope that Sky will steam in at the last minute and resolve the issue.

Are you using a physical sim or an esim and have you set this as such in your phone via the settings:
Settings > Mobile Data > Default Voice Line and select the relevant plan.
