Pixel 10 Pro XL esim

Has any one received one yet and tried to activate an esim?

Neither QR code or manual activation will work, and all I keep getting is "something is wrong with your SIM". Contact Sky

Support line are useless and keep telling me they'll order me a physical SIM, which is no good at all because my work number takes up the physical slot.

I am having exactly the same problem.  Went around the live chat process over the course of a few hours yesterday where the agent just did not understand the issue.

Skys store website shows the Pixel 10 Pro XL as eSIM compatible.

What's interesting is that I just tried to install a replacement eSIM on an iPhone 14 and got a similar error - which suggests it might not be a Pixel issue but rather a wider Sky eSIM issue.

 

I have had to ask my work to convert me to eSIM (Vodafone, took minutes, painless) so that I can use a physical SIM for Sky.  But to be honest this was my last gasp of desperation.  It should not come to this.  It should not be this hard.

 

The message on the devices is clear - "Contact Sky" / "Contact your carrier" - this is not a device issue.  It's a Sky issue!

 

Sky - sort this out!

Tell me about it, I got transferred 7 times today, each person having no idea what to do. I really wish I'd never bothered "upgrading".

I have exactly the same issue with a newly delivered pixel 10 so frustrating and glad I've found out it's just not me. 

The help team at Sky are useless and have been told I will have to wait 72 hours for someone to contact me!! I have taken out my old sim and put into th new device and it works perfectly so definitely a Sky eSIM issue!!!

I guess we are shouting into the ether here, but if anyone at Sky who has an ounce of common sense is reading this.... PLEASE HELP US!

 

There is clearly something wrong with your eSIM infrastructure.  It's NOT a Pixel issue, it's NOT a device issue... it is a replicatable proven issue with Sky eSIMs.

 

I'm happy to work with anyone to prove this issue or help diagnose this as required.

Yep same issue here, pixel 10 pro, and it will not allow an esim to be added, c'mon Sky get your act together, this is amateurish, made worse by the lack of people to speak to.

I have just recieved a Pixel 10 Pro, and I was also not able to install an eSIM today. I did get through by calling 150 on my old phone and they have just ordered me a phyiscal SIM card.

That's good, hope it works out. That was their solution for me, but I already have the physical SIM slot occupied with work SIM. They really just need to sort a proper solution. 

I went with Giff Gaff and the esim installed in seconds.

To be fair to the loyalty team, I had the exit penaly waived without issue
