Piggyback data?

I have an offer to move from my 6gb plan to an unlimited plan for 24 months for the same price. What happens to my 300gb piggy bank balance? It won't be added to or withdrawn with a unlimited plan. Will it be deleted or expire?? TIA.

@Lakepipe

Usually changing your data package would have no affect on your piggybank data but as you would be moving to an unlimited plan you wouldn't need it so it might be removed.

You should also beware that the unlimited plan is usually only if you take out an pay for a new sim so might not apply to the sim you have already got, so if this is the case the piggybank data might remain as you would still have a 6GB plan on your account.

Piggybank data expires after 12 months so will disappear if you take a 2 year deal without any other (limited) SIMs on your account.

As above, this offer is for additional SIMs only.

Re: Piggyback data?

This offer is for Diamond VIPs and is not only for additional sims according to terms and conditions. £10 per month until month 25 then £29 [!!] when it will be time to bail.

Terms clearly state for additional SIMs only.

Says 'when taking a new a new plan' and '...when purchasing a new plan'.

@Lakepipe

As above it does say:

"when purchasing a new data plan"

In other words a new sim.
