Picture message charges

I have been charged for a picture message that I did not send. I received a picture message from a friend, not on the date I have been charged for (2 days later). Do I get charged for opening a picture message?

No.

You only get charged for items you send.  I suspect your device has sent an MMS - I recommend disabling the MMS protocol on your device.

Under certain situations your device will use the MMS protocol instead of SMS and is chargeable.
