Phone update problem

I had an update come through for my mobile today so I excepted it and updated it to my phone, which was fully charged at the time.

A while later I picked my phone up to check it and it was completely dead. I have tried restarting it by pressing vol down and the power button at the same time for 10-20 seconds, different cables and different chargers. I have tried connecting via my laptop and I have also checked it for water damage which was clear. Still no signs of life. Any ideas?

Have you tried plugging it into the mains and leaving it for a while and then seeing if it has come back to life ?

I have tried that earlier and have just had it on charge for the last hour and a half but still nothing.
