Phone swap, new contract?

I am looking to swap my phone mid-contract. The quote all seems fine for the handset monthly charge but there was no quote for the new tariff i.e. calls and data etc. Does this continue at the same rate or can I negotiate a new tariff please? Hoping someone who has had experience of this can help me as I can't get past the bot on chat.

If you are happy with your current sim and the package on it then you can use this in your new phone or you can order a new package to use as the choice is yours. If you do order a new sim deal then it will come with a new number and a 12 month contract. The number can not easily be transferred between the two Sky sims without moving it to a PAYG network first then back to the new Sky sim.

Re: Phone swap, new contract?

Thank you. I am happy with the sim and with keeping the number, but the price on my monthly tariff has just doubled this month, hence me looking at swapping, so I am not happy with the price on the calls and data. Will that mean taking a new contract then, under the terms you mentioned above? Thanks again.

A new sim that will have a new number will mean you start a new 12 month contract on it.
