Phone stopped working overseas

Hi there, I’m in the USA at the moment and my phone has been working perfectly for about a week. I Have no spend caps but all of a sudden my phone will not work on 4G - will only work on WiFi. I have updated the settings on phone but still no luck

I'm in USA too - I believe you have to set a spend cap.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @Redphoenix  sky have said a spend cap must be set as if it's turned off this can cause issues. Also try searching for and connecting to a different local network.

@PandJ2020 @63johnw You do not have to have a spend cap set in order to roam.

If you choose to set a spend cap between £1 - £100 then you must ensure it's set at a sufficient level to cover the costs you expect to incur.

If you choose to set a spend cap and set this at £0 then this will in effect stop you from being able to spend anything outside of your allowance.

The alternative is to not set a spend cap at all.  This in effect means you're comfortable not having a limit, and you'll be able to spend freely up to the value of the next lowest applicable cap(s) on your account.

There is a significant difference between having no cap set and setting one at £0.

@Ollos123  We were advised in a closed area of the forum that a spend cap must be set at a minimum of £1. Only passing on what I have been told by sky.

@63johnw Thanks for letting me know.  You'll been told incorrect information.  I will try to address internally.
