Phone not arrived after 4 weeks

I ordered a Google pixel 9 over 4 weeks ago and it still states it's on back order. Called to discuss and told it may arrive this week but their not sure. I want to cancel but told that DPD will call in a few weeks so tell them the order is cancelled and refuse delivery! I'm confused as I want the phone or to cancel and re order another phone.

There's no reason why Sky can't cancel your order but just remember that if you order an alternative device you'll undergo further credit checks. Phone Sky to cancel.

You  are free to cancel at anytime so what they have told you is a load of nonsense so give them a call again and cancel the order. If it has been dispatched you would have been informed by now.
