Re: Phone insurance
I believe mobile phone insurance typically has a significant excess: this is to discourage bogus claims whenever users fancy an upgrade.

Re: Phone insurance
If your phone is covered under the Sky Protect device insurance, it is covered as below;
Include your mobile as a device on your policy to get the option to add protection against loss and theft for an extra fee per month.
Your policy gives you access to expert engineers who’ll repair or replace your mobile if:
- The screen breaks
- It gets wet (liquid damage)
- It breaks down
- An accident causes it to stop working properly
And you’re covered if any of the above happens anywhere in the world. On holiday? You can get repaired through your Sky Protect Device Insurance policy when you return home. And if we can’t fix it, we’ll replace it.
