Hi,
It looks like DPD have delivered The device to the wrong address, it was meant to be delivered between 11:30-12:30 today but now showing as delivered at 21:00 and signed for by DEL. For a start you need to show ID for a device delivery, where is it? Has anyone else had this?
If DEL is code for delayed why say it's delivered causing this stress now waiting till the morning to chase DPD myself as sky can't or won't do it.

Find out moreThere have been reports in the press that couriers like DPD are struggling with deliveries due to the knock on effect of the Royal Mail strikes, my guess is that is hasn't been delivered to the wrong address but is sitting in a DPD warehouse somewhere so you will need to contact them when you can to see what they say.

Thanks, I don't know why they have to mark it as delivered though as I now can't change the delivery day. Waited in all day today now need to mess about with DPD tomorrow.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIs there any photographic proof of the delivery? When mine was delivered they didn't ask for ID but took a photo of the parcel. If yes then it may give an indication of where it is.

Had absolutely nothing, just a notification that it was delivered and signed for by a 'DEL'.
Did an online chat with DPD and asked where it is and who signed for it and they ended the chat!!! Terrible customer service.
I have now opened an investigation with Sky so I am now without a working phone until resolved, furious

I have had exactly the same issue!
Ordered Sky Stream on Tuesday morning, as it was supposed to be delivered next day and I was off work Wednesday. Never came.
Then Saturday 17th, I had an email from DPD to say it would be delivered between 07:00 and 22:00 (yeah 15 hour window, no one hour window as usual). So waited in all day, cancelled plans etc but it never came.
Then just before 22:00 the tracking changed to say the delivery had been returned to depot, then after 22:00 it changed to delivered to "DEL" at 21:00.
I complained to Sky the same night as I was expecting to have Sky in time for weekend but now I still don't even have it yet. Sky are supposed to respond within 24 hours but I still haven't heard anything back yet.
Contacted DPD and complained, they said they will look into it but that I need to contact Sky.
I have been checking the tracking all morning today, expecting to see it out for delivery, but it still says delivered to "DEL" on Saturday night.
This is beyond a joke.

Hi I know I'm quite late but have you ever receive the parcel..? I am experiencing the same thing.

In the end I contacted Sky, who then spoke to DPD. DPD told Sky that they had "lost" the parcel and did not know where it was. Sky then sent out another box for me and it arrived within a couple of days.
So I suggest you report it to Sky and then they will chase DPD to see what has happened
