Paying credit agreement
After receiving a new phone, how long do you have to pay off your credit agreement without returning the phone?

Re: Paying credit agreement
That depends on what plan you took out, with Swap24 this is a 36 month contract so after 24 months you can swap it with another device. The cooling off period for changing your mind is 31 days.

Re: Paying credit agreement
Thank you. I'm on the swap24 and have 8 months remaining of the old phone, I can return the handset to Sky to pay it off but can get more elsewhere for it and wanted to make sure I'm not late paying off the remaining to Sky

If you haven't returned it as a swap then monthly payments continue until the balance is cleared.
You can pay it off earlier should you wish.

Re: Paying credit agreement
You can't pay it off and return it to Sky because if you do pay it off then it belongs to you so while you can then do with it as you see fit you can not return it to Sky.

Re: Paying credit agreement
Thank you. Will double check with them that I'm okay to pay it off, rather than returning the handset
