PAC code by email

Hi. After my simcard suddenly stopping working and new card can't be activated (sent to tech team to look at) I have decided to end my contract. They can't send me a PAC code by text as I won't receive it so have told me they'll send it by email which will take between 24 and 72 hours. After been given wrong information many times about my SIM activation I am wondering if anyone else had a PAC sent by email. I really need to keep my number as there are many things (work and personal) that I can't access due to not being able to receive a code by text. I can't change my option on these things either unless I am signed into my account which I can't do.

Update. I did receive a code by email and my SIM suddenly started working after 9 days of no service. I'm still leaving them though as I don't want to risk this happening again .

Hi @Jacqueline29  thats not something I have seen sky do in the past, they may do it but I haven't seen it. Why can't they give it you over the phone ?

Apparently it can't be spoken, has to be sent in a written form.

Update. I did receive a code by email and my SIM suddenly started working after 9 days of no service. I'm still leaving them though as I don't want to risk this happening again .

I am having the same problem, leaving Sky and need the PAC code, customer service tried sending me a text four times, didn't recieve it, technical help tried sending texts I didn't get them, now they are saying they will send by email, but they tried sending me an email prior to this and I didn't recieve it I asked What if I don't recieve the Email and he just kept saying You will in 1-7 working days, I said but you just tried emailing me and it didn't come through ? What makes you think I will receive one in 1-7 working days and he just said It Will, couldn't explain why I am not receiving sms texts or why the email didn't come through today, they are passing the buck and I am already paying EE and Sky !!! The customer service lady already told me they can't send a PAC code by email or post it has to be SMS. I haven't activated my EE sim yet incase I don't get a PAC code, I attend the hospital a lot for chemo and have numerous people I have to stay in contact with I am scared they won't be able to contact me this is a nightmare

I asked for one with 65075 with my DOB they replied they had sent one but I have had nothing at all
