PAC Code
I was recently advised by a sky team member to transfer my mobile number from a sky sim to a payg sim to then transfer back to a new sky sim I've taken out as the deal was incredibly lower than what I was paying for the same amount. Anyway I've transferred the number to the payg sim but when I request a pac code from them it's still the sky pac code, how long does it usually take to be able to request a new code so I can transfer the number to the new sky sim? Sorry that took so long to get round the houses.

Re: PAC Code
You would need to wait 30 days before obtaining a new pac from the PAYG network to transfer the number back to your new sim.

Re: PAC Code
To be clear you'd request the pac code from your current/PayG sim supplier rather than Sky in order to move back to Sky. If you're receiving a pac code from Sky even tough you're requesting it from the supplier you transferred to it may be that the transfer hasn't completed or that you need to wait 30 days before requesting a pac code to move back.
I don’t work for Sky.

Re: PAC Code
Thanks guys, I was advised by the payg sim company to wait 7 days as per telecom states but I tried applying for a new pac code the following day (just off the off chance) and it worked so all transferring across tomorrow. All normality to be restored. Thanks for your comments/help 🙂
