I phoned sky on 30/07/2026 for pac codes for mine and my daughters mobile. They came through in the same e-mail. Mine is fine.
But we've just gone to make the switch with my daughters PAC and noticed the pac expiry date is 4 Aug, and the request date is listed as 6 July. But I requested it in a phone call on 30th July.
If I follow the link from the e-mail, in the online account, her pac no longer appears. Lucky I took a screen shot of it! But I don't want to risk using it, if it's corrupt somewhere in the data chain.
Very weird datathat doesn't correlate to the actual timeframe of events.
Is it actually possible for sky to generate a pac in the past?

Replacement PAC code worked. No further issues.
Root cause -> I was issued a duff PAC code.
Issue closed.

Re: PAC Code has a 5 day validity period from request date
It all sounds a bit odd so if the pac has now expired you should be able to request another one for her so have you tried this ?

Re: PAC Code has a 5 day validity period from request date
That's tomorrow's job at 8:30am!
To add complexity to the problem, I was in the account management area viewing the cancellation options. The "request a PAC" button was greyed out. I wondered if that was because the one we have is still valid. Or if they make you phone up for it these days.

You usually send a text from the mobile whose number you want to move:

That service isn't available when you have multiple sims on the same account.

Re: PAC Code has a 5 day validity period from request date
Phoned up. Lovely experience. They confirmed the PAC code was still valid until the end of Aug, so the awry dates I saw were a mistake somewhere.
I suppose I'll find out if there are underlying errors, when the switch happens tomorrow!

Re: PAC Code has a 5 day validity period from request date
Submitted the PAC code to change provider but within the hour they sent an e-mail to say the PAC code was invalid.
Phoned Sky again to cancel the awry-resulting PAC code request.
Two separate PAC codes then submitted for both SIMs. Both show realistic request dates and expiry dates.
Surely that should work now!

Did Sky issue you with a new pac code because if they did hopefully that should work.

Yes, cancelled the previous pac codes because they were requested at the same time. Cancelling the awry one, also cancelled the "good" one. Issued new PAC codes.
