Outstanding balance credit

I've tried making a early payment to a phone bill as I've had a recent phone swap and when I went to do it, it had come up saying it's failed?

I have an outstanding balance of credit and I'm not sure of what it means

You do not need to be making any manual payments as Sky will take who you owe automatically each month. A credit will be on your account as this is money you are owed presumably due to you making other manual payments in the past because if you get your timings wrong then what happens is that instead of paying the bill it goes onto your account as a credit. The credit should be used to pay your next available bill.
