@Cookc

You haven't said what services you currently have with Sky. If it's TV and/or Broadband your mobile will be a separate account.

See the below link that includes an explanation of your first bills

The payment should be taken from you automatically if you ordered the phone on the same account that your other ne is on.

On the direct debit date?

That is correct but only if this new phone is on the same account that your other one is one so you can look into this yourself by looking at your bill and future bills:

https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/

If your next bill is due to be paid by direct debit in 14 days or less then it might be next months bill that you will be first billed for it but it will be back dated to the date you received it,

If it is on the same account then what I posted above still applies so look at your future bills.

Correct as you never need to make a manual payment when you have a direct debit setup.

I have answered this for you earlier.

If you have ordered this new device on the same account that you other one is on then it will be paid on that bill via your direct debit so you will be paying for two on that bill.

Have a look here at your future bills as it will appear once you have got it:

https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/future

If you have ordered it on a different account then you would have provided payment details when ordering so it should be taken from that each month.

That is correct, it will not be added to your next available bill until you have it in your hands.
