I have placed an order this afternoon for an iphone hoping for it to be delivered before Christmas. I placed this order a few hours ago and still haven't received a confirmation email is this normal? I received an order number after I pressed order but no confirmation since.

Sky have credit checks to process first? Personally I think you'll struggle to get it before Christmas. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (usually DPD) which will have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot. As customers we have no insight into stock levels or the delivery timescales.
