Hi @larabell1  its not just sky, you can't port inside other networks too. There is a way to close your old sim and move that number to your new sim. Port the old number to another network on PAYG then port it back onto the new sim. If you don't want to do that then call sky on 150 to cancel whichever sim you don't want.

You can put the sim you currently have and the data plan that goes with it into your new phone. If you have been sent a new one then don't activate it as it will be cancelled after 30 days so you will not be charged for it.

@larabell1  If you ordered a new data plan you cannot transfer a number from one Sky sim to another.  If as @caesarome  it's just a second sim then you don't need to use it.

Re: Old Sky sim number to new sky sim plan

Thanks for the help, like a complete banana I have activated the new sim as the data/cost was better than the old one

i guess I have to now pay for the new sim and go with the new number

cant see why sky can't move the old number to the new sim

how do I cancel a sky sim as I don't need two live sims
