I'm already with sky, not changing network, can I ask for a new number.

If your current dataplan is out of minimum term then simply order a new dataplan and cancel the existing one once the new one is activated (with a new number).

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Thanks no its not out of plan, I just wanted a new number for safety reasons.

Well, absent of some supporting evidence (Police/Court) then you'll have to ask Sky.   (Call them on 150)
