Number transfer

My number was supposed to be transferred from o2 to sky yesterday 

I got a text from sky saying it would be sorted by the 11th 

I can ring people and it comes up with my number but if someone rings me it goes straight to voicemail

If you gave sky the PAC on Friday @Dr3w porting doesn't happen at weekends so the earliest it would start would have been yesterday or today. Your old sim will work until the porting starts, then take that sim out and put the new sky one in and the porting normally completes soon after that.

Hi @Dr3w  doesn't sound like the port has completed. Have you had a message from sky to say it's completed ? If it's still the same tomorrow morning I would call sky on 150 to see if they can do anything, normally it resolve's itself but can sometimes take a little while.

You should get a text message when sky have completed the port @Dr3w   When did you give them the PAC ? Has your old sim stopped working ?

I gave them the pac code on Friday 

got a text from sky saying it would be done yesterday 

no text from sky confirming it has been done 

  • not sure if my old sim is still working or not as I'm using my new sky sim at the min
