Number didn’t transfer

I moved to sky mobile about a month ago. I wanted to keep my old number and I thought the transfer was done. My niece tried to call me on FaceTime and said it wouldn't ring so I called her phone and it came up as an 089 number Which sky had given me originally until my number transferred it over so it hasn't transferred it over and I haven't noticed because I have been using WhatsApp a lot other people have been able to call me. I assume on my on my own number so what is going on

Try refreshing the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

Did Sky tell you that your number had transfered, if they did is your mobile an iphone ?

Hi yes they told me it transferred and yes it's an iPhone
