Not sure if a scam or not

I received a call from SKY ? Offering the latest handset for £29 a month plus redused deal for sky tv and internet for £75 a month. The caller said his name was Paul Smith ? He asked for my card details .And I had to speak to Olivia and sign my new agreement which I did . The handset would be delivered today not arrived yet

the deal seems too good so has anyone else

been to called by Paul Smith?

I would be wary about signing up to details from calls you receive out of the blue, if the call was from Sky then they would have asked you for your telephone password so did they do this, if not then I would get onto your card people to tell them what has happened.

Did you give any other details away regarding your Sky account ?

That is your first alarm bell.

I would be very concerned.  In the first instance I would call Sky (on their listed number) and confirm whether you have actually agreed a deal with them.

Re: Not sure if a scam or not

The man asked for my sky password , he seemed to know alot of our information, the paperwork looked legitimate.

The mobile number that called was a I got a red flag because I missed the first call so I called them back but no one answered

then I got call back from (Tom) who had also been signed up to the same offer  by Paul Smith and Olivia !!!
I will phone Sky and see what is going on  .

Sky Mobile is effectively a separate business division, and typically doesn't cross-incentivise with Sky Television and/or Sky Broadband.

Did you give them the password?

And was that your account password or the telephone validation password?

If it was the former then it is almost certainly the first part of a scam.

Unfortunately this is a well known scam & you most likely were not speaking with Sky. These scammers are interested in obtaining log in details & financial information to obtain devices using your account which you'll never receive.
Have you checked your account to see if any devices have been ordered?
If you gave them account information then I would sign in (if possible) & change the password immediately.

If there are any orders which you didn't make then cancel these. If this is not possible then contact Sky. If you receive the device/s then you'll receive another call from Sky stating the order is incorrect & that you'll need to send the phone/device back - do not do this as the address will not be Sky but a scammer address. Sending the device back this way means you'll be liable for the cost.

If you gave them card details then contact your bank's/card issuer's fraud dept immediately & cancel the card.

I don’t work for Sky.
