Hi I recently swapped my vodafone number to sky mobile. But I cannot change the number from the steps you gave

Hi @Selwin  if this is an iPhone try this. 

Go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. You will need to set up your WiFi connection again.
