No service

Firstly, it shows an 'x' in signalling.  Secondly is says No service.  Finally says Denied network access.  Even the settings for Sky dim don't stay on the mobile phone.  So no calls or data Internet from sky can be used.  Please solve the problem for me, I don't know for sure but if the sim is damaged?
